We are open! We were notified this morning that we are an "Essential Business" and will be permitted to stay open. We provide some important services to our community and feel like it's best for everyone if we continue to do so. In order to do that, we have to stay healthy. We are taking safety measures to protect ourselves and our customers to the best of our abilities and will ask that you do the same. As many of you know, Kristal and I are WV natives and have a lot of family and friends, along with our parents, still there. WV was devastated by flooding last week. We are trying to assist in the recovery and clean-up efforts from afar. Immediate needs are cleaning supplies: mops, brooms, buckets, cleaners, trash bags, totes, packing supplies, gloves, fans, etc. and water.
Their future needs will be for furniture and appliances and household items just to try to start to rebuild their lives.
Anyone that would like to donate supplies can stop by our store or give us a call. We can arrange for pick-up. We will be making numerous trips up to take supplies and assist in clean-up.
Monetary donations are also being accepted at Compassionate Hope Church of God, P.O. Box 269, Webster Springs, WV 26288 Please make checks payable to Compassionate Hope, or a GoFundMe page has been set up. You can find the link at the end of this post. Tax receipts are available upon request.
