We have had quite a few convertibles come in for updates. This received a Master Kit. She is ready for the beach!
Our newest project started today. The supercharger came off and the new manifold has been set in place. Several hours spent determining where the twin 88s will fit. (The shop next door emptied out to come see this beautiful “Puller”, lol.)

As promised, new Callies crank arrived today!
New customer sent us his engine for some updating. He wants to put it in his 1966 with twin 88s. Jeff has looked the parts over and advised that this Donovan block will not be the best choice for his project. Customer decided to step-up and we have an aluminum block on order from Brodix. The Callies crank should be here tomorrow. This street driver (E85) is underway!

So back when the dinosaurs roamed the planet, was known as Speed Pro Fuel Injection. Jeff has been tuning with FAST for that long! (And that is not a bad thing) Jeff took Roy Hill’s Mustang to the wheel dyno to prepare for the upcoming Gator Nationals.
When a gal reaches her 50s she likes to get a few updates! This sweet ride got a Holley Sniper EFI installed and a more appropriate air cleaner. Then over to the wheel dyno. Customer was smiling as he drove off, because who wouldn't be smiling.
This 1969 Impala has been a fun and interesting challenge. Headlights use a vacuum system to open/close and they didn’t work properly. With “new” parts starting at $1700.00 Jeff and Manny started thinking outside the box. Thankfully the 1969 Camaro featured hide-away lights. A few other fixes and our customer can drive it home - at night!
Today we received the custom sheetmetal manifold for the SBFord Man O’ War project we posted on September 7. We think our customer will be pleased!

Seems like just yesterday that we rescued Trooper. In fact, yesterday was the last day that we had Trooper. We had him for 9 years and it was not long enough - not by a country mile.

They realized after this pull they were in 1st gear. Why you ask? Because they melted the shift cable. How you ask? They caught it on fire! Lol. Bad choice of sealant by someone in Florida. Messy, but all is well.

You buy a quality car, blower restraints, safety blankets, a 15 or 20 suit - don't skimp on your helmet! This 8860 helmet is outfitted for a Funny Car external air system too. Customer is going to really like it!
Number #1 qualifier in the 6.90 index. Weighing in at just under 4100 pounds (they had to add 75, lol), enough to lift the front end!
Congrats to Team PeeDee on their win at MIR this past weekend. Tyler had a great day and finished with a career best of 3.70 @ 197.91. Jeff and Mike have been working to improve power and parts life. It is more fun when you can use the ring and pinion for more than one round! (Special thanks to Roger Richards for use of his photo!)

This SBFord is being prepped for big boost - Jeff is checking the height of the stainless hoops and we have dry decked them too. In the event of flapping the head, no water can escape to the track. Safety first, amirite?
Customer brings us some parts to build him an engine and in the stack we find this new in the box cam. We sold this cam to a nitrous customer, out of Missouri, in August 2008 when we were in Tennessee. Now we meet up with it again here in NC!
