Kicking off the first races of the year with a bang in Lake Placid for the North America Cup this weekend! shines with back-to-back 1st place finishes for Team Frank Del Duca in the 2-man, and a 1st place finish by Keysha Love in the Women’s Monobob! 🇺🇸🛷

We salute the veterans on our team for their service to protect our great country. In honor of their courage and sacrifice, deBotech is proudly donating in their names to , an incredibly organization dedicated to providing homes to our nation's greatest heroes. This past weekend, we saw Meyer Shank Racing end the 2023 season with an incredible victory at the Motul Petit Le Mans! Seeing an old friend accomplish such a great feat takes us back to the early 2000s when we partnered with Riley Technologies to build the Daytona Prototype race cars for the Grand American Road Race Series with Michael Shank winning the 50th Anniversary Rolex 24 at Daytona in 2012 running a Riley DP. Time was the biggest challenge as the project began extremely late compared to others in the field. Against all odds, we came together as one and got the cars to the track on-time. MSR would go on to win the Rolex 24 twice in a DP. Today, carbon fiber is considered the standard across all racing series and industries alike, and we’re extremely proud to have been amongst the pioneers of high-performance composite manufacturing. Congratulations to the whole team at Meyer Shank Racing!

We were happy to welcome Detective Rowe from Iredell County Sheriff to lead our company-wide active shooter training this afternoon! There's no such thing as being too prepared for a sticky situation and we appreciate, not only these trainings, but everything they do for our community!

That’s all folks, today marks the last day of our summer internship as Mr. Jamie Shaw leaves us to return to NC State University for his final semester in pursuit of his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.

That might sound familiar as our President/CEO Hans deBot is an alumni and Hall of Fame Inductee of the NSCU MAE program as well!

It was a pleasure for all us of to have Jamie on the team this summer, here’s what he had to say about his experience: “I want to say thank you to the deBot’s and the whole team for giving me this opportunity and helping me get a glimpse into my future career. The engineering team have been incredible mentors to me and it’s been nothing short of a great experience. I truly appreciate the things I’ve learned and the people I've met at deBotech. This definitely isn’t goodbye.”

Today we say goodbye to one of our summer interns. Mr. Gunti has been with us since the beginning of May and is seeking his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Class of 2024.

It’s been an awesome couple months having him on the team, here’s what he had to say about his time with deBotech: “What I’ve loved most about working for deBotech is definitely the community. Since day 1, there was never a minute I felt out of place or like I wasn’t a part of the team. The things I’ve learned here, like taking classroom skills to real world situations or learning how to solve problems under pressure, will stick with me for the rest of my life. I’m leaving today feeling like I’ve truly grown as an engineer and built lifelong friendships along the way.”

We feel the same way, Cord. Best of luck to you and you’re welcome back anytime. Don’t be a stranger.

Ever since joining us last October, Dakoda has shown us the person he is through hard-work, dedication, and a positive attitude. He’s an example in the workplace, but if you’ve ever had a conversation with him you can tell these values ring true to his heart and personality day in and day out. We’re beyond grateful to have people like Dakoda on the team and we look forward to seeing him grow.
