Today Race City Cakes delivered this awesome baby shower cake. The tree trunk is a marble cake with buttercream frosting while the top layer is red velvet also with buttercream frosting. All of the woodland creatures are handmade using fondant, and the roses are made of gum paste. We hope that this cake helps enhance the celebration of Riley coming into the world. Today we delivered the amazing 50th anniversary cake. It is a chocolate cake with a fun beach theme. The couple is in love with Dachshunds, so we put one on either side to represent each of theirs. Race City Cakes was honored to make a cake for the Sunset and Sandals event sponsored by the Lake Norman Community Health Clinic. This event raises money for uninsured residents of Mecklenburg and South Iredell County. We donated our time and expertise to make them this beautiful 3 tier cake featuring both vanilla and chocolate cake. We really enjoyed making this cake, and we hope that LNCHC raises a ton of money for the community.

It is decorated with fondant, gum paste roses, chocolate skulls, and sugar lace. The top tier is also embossed with a skull pattern. We thought this cake looks cool and elegant. Race City Cakes just delivered this very cool cow themed cake. The bottom tier is three layers of chocolate cake, and the top layer is three layers of vanilla cake. Sitting on top is our favorite little cow with a chocolate number one next to her. We also made a matching smash cake for Adalyn. Her cake is the face of our cow and made using funfetti cake. We hope that these cakes makes Adalyn’s first birthday a celebration to remember!

Race City Cakes made and delivered these adorable baby shower cupcakes today. It is a reveal shower, so half were decorated for a girl and half for a boy. The girls have purses and shoes and the boys have bow ties. Both are made of fondant and gum paste. The cupcakes are half chocolate and half birthday cake flavored both with vanilla buttercream. Although we don’t know the gender of the baby, we do know that everyone is going to love these cupcakes!!
