We finished with an overall household response rate of 99.9%, on par with 48 other U.S. states! 47 counties exceeded their 2010 self-response rate!
63.6% were self-responding Alabamians – an improvement from the 62.5% self-response rate in 2010. Thank you for making Alabama Count in the 2020 Census!

Census Bureau Statement on 2020 Census Data Collection Ending Over 99.9% of housing units have been accounted for in the 2020 Census. Self-response and field data collection operations will conclude on October 15, 2020.
