I was proud to stand with teachers from across our state today.
They have the tough job of educating the next generation, and they deserve real support, respect, and investment. Putting our kids first means showing up for teachers. If we want a strong future, we need strong education.
You’re paying more because of conflicts of interest.
When the people in power are influenced by the same groups they’re supposed to hold accountable, we lose, and they win.
The American people deserve loyalty.

Had a great time in Laurinburg yesterday at the Suds & Swine festival.
Spent the day shaking hands and having real conversations with people about what’s going on in their lives.
And it’s pretty simple, people want honesty, fairness, and a system that works for them. They’re tired of politicians who spend more time enriching themselves than serving the people.
This campaign is about showing up, listening, and putting in real work. People deserve more than insincere speeches and five-minute photo ops.
Thank you for having me, Laurinburg. I’ll be back soon.

When I first started campaigning in Laurinburg and getting to know the community, I met a special woman named Polly Bridges, who has since become a dear friend of mine.
After losing her husband and son just six months apart, Polly has faced financial hardships.
She has an old water heater that is past its life cycle, and for the past couple of months it has been leaking. Every day, she’s had to mop up water just to keep up, and it’s now causing long-term damage to her home.
Polly has spent years serving her community, always helping others wherever she could.
Polly and I are going to install a new water heater. Altogether, it will cost about $500 for the unit and the necessary parts.
If you’re able and willing, please consider donating any amount through the GoFundMe link. There’s no donation too small. We’re hoping to get this replaced for Polly as soon as possible.
Thank you.

The Bill of Rights is one of the most fundamental documents to this country and our rule of law. We should never take these liberties for granted. I will stand up for and protect every person's rights regardless of race, religion, or gender.

On let's talk healthcare. No one in one of the richest countries in the world should die of treatable conditions because they can't afford healthcare. Our system is broken, and profits are prioritized over people. We can do better.

It was a lively morning at the Union County Farmers Market.
Always great getting out, talking to fellow small business owners, hearing their concerns, and listening to their ideas. Small businesses are the strength and backbone of our communities.
When small businesses struggle, communities feel it. When they succeed, communities thrive.
I never planned on getting into politics. But when I looked around and saw policies hurting small businesses while benefiting large corporations, I knew something had to change.
I’m focused on policies that strengthen small and local businesses so communities keep their wealth and resources at home.
We have to stand up to large corporations that profit off our communities without investing in them.
Buy local when you can. Buying local is investing in your community. Strong communities start with strong local businesses.
PS... We're taking bets on how long Alexis keeps that orchid alive.

Rising costs are affecting us all. The elite in Washington DC are out of touch with the reality families in District 8 are facing. I am out every day talking to families, small business owners, and farmers. I know your struggles. I see you and hear you and want to work for you.
