This Saturday, the Spec Rangers hit Grays Harbor Raceway for the LAST race of the 2026 season!
No holding back — the gloves are off.

🏁 RIVER CITY RACE RECAP 🏁

Small track. Big personalities. And apparently a little matchmaking happening under the lights. 😂

River City Speedway is tucked way out in the beautiful Oregon woods, and this little dirt track gave us one of the most entertaining nights of racing we’ve had this season. It started slick, grooved up quickly, and turned into some seriously fast, technical racing.

The Spec Ranger course used just about every inch they could find — down the front stretch, over the jump into the infield, through a tight hairpin and back toward Turn 4. Then the Joker Lane sent them around the little oval. Short track, but definitely not short on action.

Jalen, Austin, Jonah, Garrett, Brad, Matt, Shane and Evan all had a great night on track. Evan climbed into Kevin’s truck and continues to look more and more at home behind the wheel. He’s shaping up to be a great addition to this group.

And, for once, everyone stayed on all four tires and nobody slid sideways into a wall. We’ll take the win. 😂

But apparently brotherly love was REALLY in the air. ❤️

Austin and Garrett kicked off the evening’s matchmaking when Austin cut across Garrett just perfectly enough to hook his rear bumper onto Garrett’s truck. Instead of immediately ending the relationship, Austin slowed things down and let them spend a little quality time together. Eventually the bumper decided it had seen enough and snapped, releasing Garrett down the front stretch in front of the crowd.

A beautiful breakup. 😂

Then later, because one hookup clearly wasn’t enough for the night, Jonah and Austin decided to try it for themselves.

There may have also been a few tires around the course that unexpectedly joined the race. Nobody invited them, but they participated anyway.

Through all of it, Garrett, Brad, Matt and Shane were putting together great runs, Evan kept getting more comfortable in Kevin’s truck, and the battle up front stayed fun to watch.

At the end of the night:

🏁 Jalen — 1st
🏁 Austin — 2nd
🏁 Jonah — 3rd

Everyone raced hard, everyone left in one piece, and everyone gave us something to watch.

Huge thank you to River City for being such great hosts. A cool little track in the middle of the woods, a ton of different classes racing, and one heck of a fun night under the lights.

We’d definitely race this one again. 🌲🏁
