We are an independent robotics team from Traverse City, Michigan. Welcome to the home of VEX IQ robotics team 1313 - The RoboRunners.
Team 1313 is a northern Michigan robotics team competing in the Vex IQ Challenge. The RoboRunners have been designing, building, programming, driving, and documenting their experience since 2015.

Congratulations to RoboRunners 1313A middle school VRC team for their amazing performance at the MCCC/Knabusch Michigan VRC MS State Championship. 🤖
Austin and Lillian made it all the way to the tournament FINALS and qualified for Worlds in April! 🏆 🎉
This is their first year competing in VRC after 4 years in VEX IQ and their 5th year in a row to qualify for the VEX World Championship!

It's been a big week for the RoboRunners!
Congratulations to RoboRunners 1313A middle school VRC team for their excellent performance at the Benzie Central Husky Robotics VRC MS/HS Tournament. 🏆 🎉
They were both the Tournament Champions and Robot Skills Champions today!
Their next stop is the State Championship in March. 🤖

Congratulations to RoboRunners 1313A middle school VRC team for taking home the Robot Skills Award with a score of 41 at the Northwest Michigan VRC MS/HS Tower Takeover League!
The RoboRunners are currently ranked 5th in the state, with the 2nd highest driver skills score out of all middle-school VRC teams. They are ranked #100 in the World.

Congratulations to RoboRunners 1313 middle school VRC team on your Excellence Award (top team award and highest honor) and Robot Skills 2nd Place Award at your first tournament of the season!
Austin and Lillian beat out 22 High School and Middle School teams at the event to win Excellence, had the top Middle School Robot Skills score and also made it into the semi-finals!

Congratulations to the RoboRunners elementary and middle school teams on your fantastic performances at the 2019 VEX Robotics World Championships!
RoboRunners Middle School team 1313M made it all the way to the Science division finals, where they tied for 3rd place!
For the 2nd year in a row, RoboRunners Elementary team 1313A won the Design Award in their division!!! The Design Award is the TOP judged award in each division and is awarded to the team with most effective and efficient robot design process.
They also won the online Autodesk Make It Real CAD Engineering Challenge for the elementary division for the 2nd year in a row AND made it to the Cassini division finals where they finished in 4th place!
