Montreea

Wow! It’s been a long time. Love y’all!

I’m honestly amazed at how many people have been blessed through my story and through what God has done in my life. I’ll always be grateful for that.

But I stepped back for a few years because somewhere along the way, religion started taking over my narrative, and honestly, things got out of control.

I have a personal relationship with Christ. That has never changed.

What changed is that I realized religion can become very “one size fits all,” and I’ve never fit neatly into that mold. So I walked away from the gospel music industry. Looking back, it probably was never the right place for me in the first place.

I appreciate the thousands of people who followed and supported me, but at the end of the day, I’m still just a Louisiana girl who loves sitting in a room making the music I FEEL, not the music somebody else thinks I’m supposed to make.

This page is staying up because God can still use the story, the videos, and everything that happened here to bless somebody.

But me? I’m back to making music, not religion.

For the last few years, I’ve quietly been writing R&B, rap, house, and other records for artists around the world. Some of that music went straight to dance floors, rap shows, and gay clubs.

And you know what? I love that.

Because music, unlike people, doesn’t need boundaries.

I have a new page now. Just search Montreea Music.

I really don’t have much else to say about it. Anything else I need to express, you’ll hear in the music.

God bless.

M.
