For the second year in a row, the Moline Public Schools Foundation proudly donated $2,000 to support the Maroon Market and its community food box pick-up program.

This partnership is about more than dollars, it’s about dignity, access, and showing up for our families in meaningful ways.

The Maroon Market continues to serve students and families by providing essential food resources in a welcoming, supportive environment. Thanks to this continued investment, families can pick up community food boxes filled with nutritious items that help bridge gaps and ease burdens.

A huge part of this impact is the incredible leadership of Hailey Hill and Lexi Hanske, who are doing amazing work to organize, coordinate, and serve our families with compassion and care. Their dedication behind the scenes ensures this program runs smoothly and reaches the families who need it most.

When we talk about supporting the “whole child,” this is what it looks like. Making sure students are nourished, supported, and ready to learn.

We are proud to stand alongside Maroon Market for another year, because when our families are supported, our students thrive. ❤️

With the leadership of Lisa Beckwith, the MHS Kindness Club collected a total of 474 pairs of socks during the Socktober event! All donations have been given to our very own Maroon Market. Thank you to everyone who made our first Socktober event a success!
