Win or lose, I love my horse.
Our second and third barrel have been beautiful but that first has been getting me lately.

Barrel racing didn’t go the way I wanted this weekend which is always a let down but I’ve learned that I have to give my horse grace, just like me she can have an off weekend and that is ok.
Thank you to Mandi and Amber for helping me tune some things this weekend.

Sometimes you can put in all the time and effort and try your absolute best, and things still don’t go your way. It honestly really sucks, but you have to remember that one run—or even a couple of months—doesn’t define who you are. Just keep working hard, stay positive, and don’t give up on yourself.
