Bryan Spitulski welcomes filmmaker Shareen Anderson for a discussion about the Scott & Laci Peterson case. Laci Peterson vanished on Christmas Eve 2002, and her husband, Scott Peterson, was convicted two years later of her murder. Shareen has directed and produced multiple documentaries examining the case, including Trial By Fury (2016), The Murder of Laci Peterson (A&E/Hulu, 2017), and Face To Face With Scott Peterson (Peacock, 2024), which features her prison interview with Scott—raising compelling questions about the original investigation.
Bryan’s connection is personal: in the early hours of Dec. 25, 2002, he was called to investigate a burning van in Modesto’s airport district—an incident that still sparks debate about a possible link to Laci’s disappearance.
