First Respnder Wife Life
People either call their hubby’s to come home early to help
or they call mine.
First Responder wives can’t do either, so we adapt. We become the fixers, the do-it ourself-ers, they suck it up and don’t be scared-ers and the when does your shift end I need help-ers!
Who can relate?

Simple | Moody Tablescape
There was a season of my life where I spent countless hours decorating, storing tub after tubs of decor and days of planning and shopping.
That season has passed and I just don’t have the desire, time or love to decorate like that anymore.
But, this year I decided I would do a simple to welcome in fall and since I’m in a moody mood, I figured the table should match that vibe. 😂
Do you decorate for the holidays? Tag me in your tablescape post! I would love to see your decor!

Hi friends! 👋🏼
This account was started in a season of my life where I was working from home | trying to adjust to a new season | and I had lots of time to thrift > which I once loved.
As we do, we grow and evolve and ultimately our hobbies change. In my growth, I realized I used thrifting to cancel my boredom and loneliness. The thrill of the hunt gave me a temporary joy and I spent lots of time searching to continue that feeling.
This left me with tons and tons and tons of just …things, and also a constant feeling that I needed to post and redecorate with my “scores”.
In my healing, I no longer desire stuff. In fact, too much now makes me feel heavy and so I’ve majorly purged our home! It’s so freeing!
On top of that, I know when I watched thrifting videos, I then felt like I wanted to go thrift in hunt of a new score. Now living a more simple life, I no longer thrift for joy, in fact I rarely thrift at all! I have found I actually need very little, and decorating for every single holiday is just a lot of work and that work involves stuff. Because of that, I don’t feel right sharing videos of unnecessary thrift buying so I don’t influence others in that way.
This isn’t to shame or make any thrifters out there feel bad! This is just my story and my convictions.
With all this said, I will rarely be active on this account. I will keep it for the memories, but I will be focusing my intention (as I have been) on my podcast and business.
I would love to share my love for the Lord and candles there!
Thank you for the support, love and friendship over the years!!
Xoxo,
Angela
