We are excited to welcome Dr. Magdalena Słomka to our team!

Dr. Słomka joins us as a board-certified specialist in Infectious Disease, bringing a strong international background in medical education and clinical care across Poland and the United States.

She completed her medical degree at the Wrocław University School of Medicine in Poland and went on to train extensively in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease, including residencies in Wrocław, Poland and Cleveland, Ohio, as well as a fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Słomka is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Infectious Disease and holds ECFMG certification. She is also trained in CDC Yellow Fever vaccine guidance for healthcare professionals.

She is fluent in Polish and English, with working knowledge of German.

We are thrilled to have her expertise, dedication, and global experience as part of our team and look forward to the care she will provide to our patients.

As you enjoy time outdoors through the rest of the summer, keep your skin health in mind. While we all love basking in the summer sun, it can be one of the most damaging forces to the skin. Over exposure to the sun causes sunspots, wrinkles, dull skin, and potentially skin cancers. Keeping your skin healthy the entire year is esthetician, Aimee Lee’s number one goal.

Q. What's your best advice for keeping your skin safe in the sun?
A. Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen! In addition to wearing a mineral sunscreen every single day, look for clothing and hats with UPF protection such as UPF 50, which is manufactured into the fabric. Avoid being out when the UVB are at their peak, between 10 a.m. and 3p.m., and reapply sunscreen every two hours to avoid sun exposure. Vitamin C serum is also vital to skin health and protects your skin from harmful rays from the sun and helps combat hyperpigmentation. And remember, the sun's rays are out from sun-up to sundown.

While some treatments require downtime and limited sun exposure there are several that leave you with immediate results and require little to NO downtime! Each of the following treatments are sun safe and will allow you to finish the summer with luminous, healthy skin:

Micro-needling
