Nathan Harmon’s message, energy, and presentation are truly like no other. I would love to help bring him back so more schools and surrounding communities can experience it.

But for now, we’re staying in this moment the journey continues with several more stops at schools, treatment centers, and communities across South Dakota.

The countdown is officially on! In just three days, our group of runners will hit the road for 437 miles, 4 days, and one powerful mission.

From the first step to the final mile, every mile is about bringing hope, starting conversations, and reminding people they’re never alone.

We’re almost there. Let’s run. 💙

Kern Parce and John Peterson thank you for standing in front of a room full of people at the Rooted in Hope - You Belong Here event and sharing the hard, honest parts of your journeys. Your courage, vulnerability, and hope touched more hearts than you will ever know.

Who would have thought our hardest chapters would be the very thing that crossed our paths and created such meaningful friendships? I certainly wouldn’t have chosen the hardships—but I will always be grateful they led me to people like them.

There is still life beyond the moment that tells you there isn’t. Let someone stand in that moment with you.
