This project, I could clump into the "Oh no not another learning opportunity" category.

My fanaticism to save materials from the landfill and desire to make money or actually make money are at odds it seems.

Waste Less Works is a passion project of a business. Who in their right mind panelizes a house so thst it can be rebuilt elsewhere? We at Waste Less Works believe in reuse. We beleive pieces can be whole again. Floor panels can be skinned with OSB and be a new house floor and walls can be numbered and and sistered together and hold it all up again. With creativity and passion and some money the house pieces thst we tag and carefully cut can be a home again. Great old lumber saved from the landfill to be new again!

Busy busy.

Our new friend wild man and rancher extraordinar @ uncletek2000 bought this fantastic Lipton ice tea dispenser. I have hung onto this sweet gem for who know how long and it fills my cup to share the cup filler. And we are making great progress on the house deconstruction on Washburn. It will be packaged as a kit for rebuilding. $11,900. Details on FB marketplace.

Super cheap old 2x4 decking with joists off of a nice old house and the most rickety deck ever. But will come apart in a few bigger sections that we can load onto a trailer for your deck project. Also at the yard some nice caramel colored interior barn wood and some grey barn wood. With a trailer of parts and pieces of barns on the way.

It is not often you see board and bat 1x on a roof for sheathing and roofing. It worked for awhile. Maybe 100 years. Probably let in some drips during the last 30. In the meantime a colony of lichen and moss grew. That reminds me of a joke about fungus but I forget how it goes. Nevermind. What I meant to say is these lichen boards are each a piece of organic art. Someone please put them on the wall!
