Strangely, there is very little known about Shakespeare’s life. Most of the information has been gleaned from records that have been found by historians. Let’s talk about why we should even read Shakespeare to our young ones. Usborne has books that have made Shakespeare fun! Here's a fun way to introduce Shakespeare’s life to your children. Check out these two short videos (in the comments) that summarize his life. Truthfully, not much is known about his life. They guess today, April 23 is his birthday because of the date of his baptism. What info historians have gleaned is from the public record that is from Shakespeare being an actor and a playwright with such an important acting troupe. Have fun with these videos. They truly are a cute and fun way to introduce Shakespeare, the playwright.
