What a day with my client, Jeannine! She is building a new home, and the builder gave us four hours to pick out all the finishes and materials. We did it. Well, it took us an extra half hour, but that was pretty good. I helped not only with the selections but also with making sure it all pulled together. Next, we will be working on furniture and window treatments.

Last week, I attended a fun event for designers at the Kohler Showroom. The photos show some fun ideas for tiles, tubs, and shower heads. The Moxie showerhead that I am getting for my own personal use has a Bluetooth speaker in the center—perfect for listening to music or your favorite podcasts. Eating the food was enjoyable, too!

Finding four-leaf clovers has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. Now, I manifest them without looking for them. They come to me. I was out taking a fast walk the other day, and I kept being called to look down, and one would stare right at me. That day, 11 came to me. If I try to look, I never find one. I have to just believe, and there they are. In this mix, there are also one five-leaf and one six-leaf, known to be even more lucky. Once you get this concept down, you can manifest whatever your heart desires. FYI-One in 5000 clovers is a four-leaf!

Take control of each room in your home. Assess, declutter, and transform.

Which areas in your home need decluttering? You can walk from room to room and jot down your immediate observations and reactions. Do you see junk piled up on tables or in the corners? Does a particular room make you feel uneasy, anxious, or simply uninspired?

Earlier in the year, I went to the Las Vegas Furniture Market. I asked clients if they wanted any new furniture for their homes. I carry many lines, but visiting the showrooms and seeing the latest pieces for myself is always good. I remodeled John's Townhome when he moved a few years ago. He responded, saying he wanted a leather sectional and travertine cocktail table. Yesterday, I delivered his upgraded pieces I found at Market!

I had a large, empty space for a multi-housing project that required a leasing office. In the spacious hallway leading up to the leasing office, I aimed to create a beautiful walkway for tenants and future tenants to enjoy. I added nature elements, such as the woodsy feel of the luxury vinyl tile and wallcovering, which was a blown-up photograph of trees with a bench. On the other side, I added photographs blown up to the dimensions specified of local landscapes in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, including the State Fair, which is located right next to these apartment buildings. Good lighting topped it off!
