The program got fully underway this spring, just in time for Minnesotans to get their boats back on the water! When we entered the data centers space, we understood the rush to establish updated regulations to address the rise of large-scale data centers. As we’ve learned more about these resource-draining facilities, we’ve realized the truth: we’re better off without them.

Because of the conversations we’ve had with all of you—be it at your doors, on your phones, or in-person—it has become clear that you all wanted us to take a stronger stance against these data centers, which certainly aligned with our goals.

So, thank you for giving us the support to take a stronger stance on these data centers. We’ll be fighting for you and Minnesota every day at the Capitol.
