A new HGA-designed "campus landmark” at Case Western Reserve University was approved by Cleveland’s Planning Commission. Construction on the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Building will start later this year. The new facility increases the amount and quality of innovative research space. Healthcare Design provides a first look at the new surgical and critical care facility at Allina Health Abbott Northwestern Hospital. The project re-envisions the hospital’s campus and will offer much needed space for additional beds and interventional procedures. HGA worked with hospital staff and on a design that opens the campus to the surrounding community, using new entrances and a welcoming arrival garden. Constructed with Mortenson. Designed by HGA and developed by Common Plate Hospitality, the hall is an elevated culinary experience reminiscent of the Washington, D.C. trolley system that moved people between downtown Washington, D.C. and the suburbs. The Child, Adolescent, and Adult Behavioral Health Services Center at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center will be the first Santa Clara County-operated inpatient facility specifically for children and adolescents in need of behavioral health services.
