🌱 The future of Black mental health needs your help! 🌱
At Reviving Roots, we believe in showing up for our people and today, we’re asking our community to show up for Adia Hickman.
Adia is our Administrative Assistant Intern, a psychology major, and an aspiring Black therapist passionate about youth advocacy, community healing, and creating spaces where people can thrive.
As she enters her final three semesters of college, Adia is working to transfer to Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA) while navigating unexpected financial barriers. Despite working, earning scholarships, and maintaining an incredible 3.7 GPA, she is facing challenges with tuition, housing, and financial support that could impact her ability to complete her degree.
College is expensive—but community is powerful. 💛 Let’s show up and show out for Adia as she continues her journey toward becoming a future mental health provider.

Black men deserve spaces where they don’t have to carry everything alone.
This 6-week therapy group is for Black men (21+) who are tired of always being the strong one, feeling disconnected, or carrying stress that never seems to leave. Together, we’ll explore how our experiences shape the way we move through the world and practice new ways of relating to ourselves, our bodies, and each other.
Over six weeks, we’ll move through themes of awareness, reconnecting with your body, relationships, rest, responsibility, and returning to yourself. This isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about healing in community with other Black men who get it.
Sliding scale pricing. Limited spots available.
Send this to a Black man who deserves a space to exhale. 🖤
