“Category is: Pop opulence. Lady Gaga’s The Mayhem Ball tour put her signature brand of daring, shadowy pop music center stage. The dark delight of songs like “Poker Face” and “Judas” brought back the epic pop essence that made her a global superstar.

Add to that the visual drama of a grand, Colosseum-esque stage design, and that was the visceral vibe pumping through the smoke machine-filled air at Grand Casino Arena on April 9.
