This Japanese inspired garden + walkway + water feature flow down along the side of the home towards the lake. It’s always fun to go back and see it once the plantings mature and fill in.

We LOVE a good before and after!

This Minneapolis, MN courtyard needed an update and refresh. There was a lot of wasted, useable space with overgrown gardens. The homeowner wanted a conversation area with a fire feature along with a dining space. So we removed the planting beds and existing pavers and installed natural limestone slabs and redesigned the planting beds along the fence line. David Kopfmann designed and fabricated the metal dining set and gas fire feature on wheels. We also installed a basalt stone water feature to help alleviate neighborhood noise. It turned into a perfect city sanctuary.

Meandering Contemporary Front Entry ~ Circa 2014.

This architecture of this home is set into a hill, so we carved out a meandering bluestone walkway with a stone bench and a beautiful front patio. Love this one!

This Tonka Bay, MN stunner has such sweet details with the combo of mixed materials, such as custom metal railing, boulder outcroppings, stepping stones, and mix of mature perennials.
