MacAusland Wool Blankets
Made out on the windswept western tip of Prince Edward Island by people who know a thing or two about keeping the chill out, MacAusland Wool Blankets are absolutely the coziest, fluffiest, softest, prettiest, woolliest, and warmest woolen blankets around.
Elga, Dale, and their team lovingly craft each piece, taking it from raw sheared virgin wool to finished dream blanket in their 90+ year old factory. Their operation is so small we hand pick our colors every summer for winter production.
The touch, feel, and quality of these heirlooms make them our hands down favorite. Snuggle up with a pup and we're pretty sure you'll agree.

Re-stocked: Handmade Soaps. 🫧
These exquisite cold-processed hand-made soaps started as an experiment in founder Sarah's mother Susan's basement and can we say? IT WAS A SUCCESS.
Susan (now with help from Sarah's father Pentti) measures, pours, and cuts each batch of 88 bars by hand.
The resulting rich, intoxicatingly scented, and beautifully wrapped soaps are a joy to use-and make lovely gifts, if we do say so ourselves.
In addition to whatever lovelies indicated in the name (French Clay, Oatmeal, Charcoal, e.g.) bars are made from saponified oils of olive, coconut, and castor, with shea butter and essential oils. 🧼

Dining Under The Stars ✨
While we'll always love a sultry summer evening soiree, when the nights get cool and the stars get crisp overhead is when we really love to make a moveable feast in the grand outdoors.
Pack up a few cozy favorites and raise a glass to the changing of the seasons.

Turned Beechwood Bowls
The brilliant, fascinating, and hyper-specialized bowl-making process starts with a whole Beech tree, freshly delivered from the forest, wick and green. The artisans measure, mark, and cut blocks to size, trim, edge, and lathe a series of incrementally smaller nesting bowls from each block, smooth, sand, and plane each bowl to make it level and even, steam the finished bowls to remove sap and close the pores of the wood, and finish each gorgeous bowl by hand-dipping it in a food-safe mineral oil bath.
The resulting (ahem, perfectly giftable) bowls are heirloom-quality gorgeous, each with a stunning unique tone and grain depending on the life-history of their tree. 🍚
Bowls of this exact style have been found aboard shipwrecks from the 1500's sooo imagine how long this might last if instead of sending it to rest in the briny deep you gave it a quick rubdown with oil every now and then? SALAD FOREVER. 🥗

Roli Poli and Cone Rock Mexican Glassware 🥃
With their organic form, tiny, airy bubbles, and excellent feel in hand, these beachy, bohemian glasses are like the Pura Vida cousins to our favorite French bistro glasses.
These are also marvelous as small votive holders, a row of rosy, flickering light gives your table an effortless "dinner party in Oaxaca" kind of vibe. 🕯️

While we love summer with the wild and full-throated glory of a swinging-from-a-rope-into-a-swimming-hole yodel we'd be fibbing if we said we weren't always *secretly* incredibly excited for fall every year.
The most exciting of all: the back to school supply list. ✏️✂️📃

We first fell head over heels for enamelware on a roadtrip.
Sticking a classic enamel mug into that tiny bit of space at the end of the carpetbag was a last-minute impulse, but one that has served us well on every trip since.
Morning cowboy coffee, evening sundowner rosé, an overflowing cupful of blackberries gathered by the roadside, butter melted at the edge of the campfire.
When on the road, literally everything tasted better out of our sweet, sturdy little mug.
