From a rundown auto body shop to a designer’s dream, this unique transformation is worth a double take. Our team helped convert this 3,800ft space into Talking Walls’ boutique and showroom located in Milwaukee. Join us in celebrating their official grand opening! The Gardner team recently took on a very special project transforming a Minnesota boy’s vision into a reality! In collaboration with Make-A-Wish Minnesota and Joy Collaborative, our team had the opportunity to build Isaac’s Treehouse Haven, complete with a swirly slide, zip line, rock climbing wall, loft area to kick back and read his comic book collection, and even a surprise secret room. It was such a thrill to see the joy on Issac’s face as he saw the finished space for the first time. Thank you to all of our partners who had a hand in making Isaac’s dream come true!

This past fall, South Lake Pediatrics moved into their new 9,000 SF space in Plymouth after a strategic consolidation of their west metro clinics. This new clinic allows their team to better serve the families and patients treated, while also providing an inviting atmosphere that caters to a broad age range — from little ones to young adults. Timing the closeout of the project just right was a top priority to ensure the clinic was fully functioning in time for patients to receive their routine check-ups before the start to a new school year.

Two years ago, our team built a gazebo for the moms and kids at Perspectives to enjoy as an outdoor gathering space. However, there were not many communal spaces on campus that were fit to hold larger groups during the colder months. Collaborating with our design and trade partners, we converted 3 garage stalls into a multi-use clubhouse where community meetings and activities can be held year-round.

We proudly turned over the clubhouse space to the Perspectives families and staff last week, celebrating the grand opening with a ribbon cutting celebration, fall treats, and a game of pick up basketball with the kids after school.

Happy birthday, team GB! 💚

There’s nothing better than a picture perfect day to showcase the Burton and Virginia Myers Education Center at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum! Our team closed out this project in the spring, making it the newest addition to the 1200-acre public garden located in Chaska, MN. The building houses office space and a kitchen classroom to support the research and education programs that extend from the University of Minnesota’s College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences.

Breaking ground in Champlin, MN with Twin City Twisters Gymnastics!

Our team will be building out the shell and interior of the new 38,880 SF gymnastics facility located along Business Park Boulevard. The Twin City Twisters gym has been a large part of the Champlin community for many years, and we are excited to partner with them to create a new space for their gymnasts, families, and coaches.

Known for being the oldest neighborhood in Milwaukee, the streets of Walker’s Point are filled with 19th century character. 131 S. 1st Street is one of the many historic buildings in the neighborhood that has held countless purposes over its 150 year lifespan. From a distillery to a paper company, a saloon, grocery store and even a school, this building has seen it all. Now, Anne Zizzo and the Zizzo Group team are calling this beautiful, historic gem the home of their new headquarters!

Some fun facts about the project:

The building holds the third oldest freight elevator in Milwaukee, and it is still up and running today.

Our carpentry team spent hundreds of hours repairing wood joists throughout the building. Some areas of the floor had to be re-leveled up to 6 inches!

Anne Zizzo knows how to throw one heck of a grand opening celebration! Zizzo Group partnered with Central Standard Craft Distillery to revitalize the White House Bourbon Whiskey as a way to pay homage to the building's roots.
