It was an exciting night for Inspired By Design Thursday evening at the ASID MN Awards 2015 Party. We were honored to have received a design award for our Fish Lake Remodel Project, specifically the Master Bathroom design and specialty lighting. It was fun to celebrate ASID's 40th Anniversary along with sharing an evening of good food, great design and fun with friends!

We took this 1980's kitchen to a whole new level...We took space from an adjoining unused formal living room to make the kitchen bigger. We also used the rest of the living room space to add a huge walk-in closet on the main floor master suite.

This kid friendly family room and home office are the favorite place to hang out for this young family. The wall and door between the old four season porch and main level living room was removed to create an open concept floor plan and bring in more natural light into the space. The pine walls and old brick fireplace were painted a crisp shade of white to brighten and update the feel of this family room.

We took a dysfunctional existing laundry room on the main level off of the garage and moved it directly above to the 2nd floor conveniently located near the bedrooms and made this space a dedicated mudroom with coat lockers and USB outlets for charging iPads and phones. This helps keep this busy family organized.

Check out this custom dining table I designed through Berman Rosetti...We think it turned out fabulous! Take note of the sexy pedestal base and functional quality of the metal lazy susan. The client loves it!

Here's one of our projects...The dark brown walls are actually an embossed faux crocodile wallcovering...We love the texture that the wallcoverng brings to this space and are using more and more wallcoverings in our projects.
