Deleted bit from our upcoming video poking fun at Tesla YouTubers. Not mad we aren't keeping it, just disappointed.
SIXTEEN years ago this month we watched Powaqqatsi and it had a profound effect on us. The shrooms we may or may not have been on probably enhanced that.
The next day as a film exercise we shot Moonbeamqqatsi, to tell a story without dialog set to song.
Our movie, at 4:20 long, was about a lad whose favorite pipe breaks. Unable to cope with the loss of this treasured possession he is driven to alcohol and eventually succumbs to his sadness, slitting his wrist with his broken pipe, letting the darkness consume him. Kino as F**K
Bonus points for the audio being a solid white bar of ear violence and the fact that we showed this 4-5 times at our highschool.

Had a blast making the kickstarter video for Boy Band Builder. Glad to see it get funded.
The original video followed a exboy band member reflecting upon his past accomplishments while questioning his relevancy in quarantine. Weighting the cosmic heights of his career against the abuse and isolation of being a young recording artist in a uncaring industry churning out forgetable autotuned schlock for a quick buck... now that I think about it it makes sense why that version is not the one that got selected for the campaign 😬🤣

The last one we shot before Vine died. I seem to remember we had a few Specialist Ed ones but I guess it's ok I can't find them it's not really worth getting canceled over 😆

I don't know why we thought that the children using Vine would understand this reference but f**k it we did it anyway. Still have the can five years later. Priceless Studio relic.
