Deceive the Heavens to Cross the sea — ThreatFabric

If you are an Android Phone user (any mobile device that is not iPhone or Apple) you may be at risk of a Banking Trojan. A few apps on the google play store bypassed malware detection, and so far a reported 300,000 google play store users have been affected across the globe. Once downloaded the offending apps prompted the user to allow "downloads from an unknown source" to install an app update. Using this method the Banking Trojan would then be installed.
