Amy Joy Flower Rescue

Rescued event flowers refreshed and rearranged as handheld bouquets and vase arrangements! My favorite moment of JOY this week... I was stopped at a red light at the corner of MLK Dr and North Ave. A young man was pushing an elderly woman in a wheelchair across the street. I hopped out of my car, handed her flowers, and made it back in my car before the light changed. She was so happy! Love the surprise of unexpected JOY!

Brought flowers to staff and had a delicious lunch at Kinship Cafe today. Caitlin Cullen, Director of Food & Community Engagement said my timing was perfect. The kitchen was short staffed and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Flowers brought them needed JOY!

Whenever Mike, a dedicated volunteer, sees me walk into Kinship with flowers, he says, "You're going to make a lot of people happy!" Mike is one of my best supporters. He always does whatever he can to help me distribute flowers and bring JOY! Thank you Mike!

We are a Community of Generosity. This means that no one is so poor that they have nothing to give and no one is so rich that they have nothing to receive. It's not just a good idea, it's the Kinship way. ❤️
