Another gorgeous day! Everything's lush and green and ripe for picture-taking.
Doesn't it feel like spring is giving way to summer? What a lovely evening yesterday. And another lovely Saturday ahead of us. Time to get out the camera!
Have you ever been caught without your camera when the perfect moment hits? A few years ago, I'd left the heavy, awkward thing at home when 'light happened'. Never again! Now it's my constant companion.
It may be a wee bit cooler out there, but the light is lovely so I'll be out with my camera. Will you?
There are just a few days left to take in the Mini Show at Art*Bar Riverwest! There are still a few of Ian Pritchard's 'wee giftie' photographs there as well as dozens of other great works by many of Milwaukee's best emerging and established artists. Tiny art at tiny prices--see it by January 2!

Yes! There's still time to order photographs from MilwaukeePhotos.com for pre-Christmas delivery! We'll be taking orders for pickup or local delivery through noon Friday. For those who need express shipping to other destinations, we can do that too--we only charge the actual costs from our shippers for this service. Who on your list needs a little more art in their lives?

Hard to believe it's time for the last art show of the year! Come out and see us at the third annual fine art and craft show at Kunzlemann-Esser Lofts at 710 W. Historic Mitchell Street (2nd floor). We'll be there along with about 30 other artists. There will also be live performances and a generally fun atmosphere! Join us from 6 to 10 p.m. tonight (Friday) or 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Don't miss your chance to pick up a few of our limited-production "wee gifties" for your friends and family!
Just in case you're wondering, yes, Ian Pritchard Photographs and Milwaukee Photos will be participating in Small Business Saturday tomorrow, 11/26. You can come see (and purchase!) Ian's work tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Oak Creek Community Center, 8580 S. Howell Avenue. Admission to the event is free but you are asked to bring nonperishable items for or donate to the Salvation Army food bank. You can also see us at our website, MilwaukeePhotos.com, though we'd really love to meet you in person!
Looking forward to a fun weekend exhibiting our work at the Winter Glory Fine Art and Craft Show at the Harley-Davidson Museum at Sixth and Canal Streets. Hours are 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, 11/18, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. There's plenty of free parking at the Museum (and a cash bar in the exhibit hall), so come and see us in Booth #31!
It's a beautiful day! Come on out and join us at the Charles Allis Art Museum's Harvest Fair, today (10/8) from 10 am to 4 pm at 1801 N. Prospect. We'll be exhibiting OUTSIDE in the garden area. Enjoy!

I have two new pieces in a show that's opening at Art Bar Riverwest, 22 E. Burleigh St., tonight! These pieces are a real departure for me--they combine digitally edited work (something I don't usually do!) with haikus that I wrote. Stop on by to see something different! Show opens at 8 tonight and runs until October 12.
