Alternative Power and Energy (APE) is an organization that was originally started by engineering students at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
The purpose or mission of APE is to explore the use and benefits of alternative power, energy, and fuel sources and then implement them in real life situations. Through research, projects, presentations, and technical tours; students, members, and the community will be better educated on using our resources more efficiently and have an increased awareness of the need to find energy alternatives to satisfy our world's increasing demand.
