DAY 2 of our Managers Retreat was one for the books! ☀️🌊🏝️ It was a great day to celebrate the end of one year and look ahead to the next with fresh vision and excitement! 🎉 Here are a few highlights from the day 📸

On December 19th, the Wicked Awesome Wishes team met outside Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak to join the annual tradition of wishing pediatric patients goodnight during the month of December. For two straight weeks every year before Christmas, volunteers get together outside of the pediatric unit to flash their lights wishing the kids spending the holidays in the hospital a good night. The tradition, starting in 2017, has been a great way to get the community involved in a generous cause, providing the kids with the feeling that they have support and are not alone during the holiday season.

The Wicked Awesome Wishes team bundled up in the weather and gathered glowsticks and phone lights, along with a couple hundred other volunteers, to wave in unison while the kids flashed lights from their windows back. Wicked Awesome Wishes was also able to provide financial support to help this cause. It was a night full of hope and blessings and we look forward to continuing the tradition next year!

In a powerful show of support for those on the path to recovery, Wicked Awesome has made a generous donation of $5,000 to Recovery Alive, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals struggling with addiction. This contribution will directly support Recovery Alive’s mission to provide holistic recovery resources, including educational programs, support groups, and recovery coaching, empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives free from substance dependency.

The donation comes at a critical time, as Recovery Alive continues to expand its reach and services, ensuring that more people have access to the support they need to reclaim their lives and build lasting sobriety.

After graduating cosmetology school, Olivia discovered her love for men’s haircuts and joined the Lady Jane’s family. She’s been a devoted member of our team for over ten years. Each and every day, she continues to build strong relationships with her clients and coworkers, and those relationships continue to bring her joy and push her to do her best. 🔥

Olivia’s consistent hard work, positive energy, and care for others, along with her passion for her work and her enthusiasm for connecting with clients embody the spirit of Lady Jane’s and made her a wonderful choice for our 2025 LJ Girl. During her 12 years at Lady Jane’s, Olivia has built a loyal clientele through her work ethic, authentic approach and positive outlook. She makes her clients feel valued and at ease.

In the future, Olivia hopes to hone her skills and progress in her career within Lady Jane’s. With her commitment to excellence and cheerful attitude, she is looking forward to exploring new opportunities while continuing to inspire those around her.
