Great Impressions

I was honored to play the dual role of Moderator and Panelist for the FaB Wisconsin Redefining Diversity in the Food and Beverage Industry event earlier this week. The panel provided honest and insightful experiences as diverse leaders in this industry.

I closed with the following thoughts. I pray that we take these words to heart.

“Today we heard what it really means to lead with inclusion—not just in hiring, but in how we build culture, share access, and challenge outdated systems.”

We learned that inclusion isn’t just about who gets a seat—it’s about who gets funded, and who gets to stay at the table.

As we leave this space, I’ll offer this reflection:

“Who are we called to see that we’ve been overlooking? Inclusion isn’t just a business strategy—it’s a reflection of how we value people. Scripture tells us that faith without works is dead, and in this context, intention without action falls short. If we truly believe in equity, our decisions should reflect it—in how we hire, how we partner, and how we open doors for others.”
