Summer Soulstice returns to the East Side on Saturday, June 13th for a full day of live music, local flavor, and can’t-miss summer energy. From noon to midnight, the neighborhood comes alive with performances, food and drinks, and moments you’ll be remembering all summer long.

This year features five stages of music filled with a mix of returning favorites and exciting new artists to discover. And back by popular demand, Black Cat Alley transforms once again with the return of the DJ takeover.

Wander from stage to stage, follow the music, and make a day of it. It’s free, all ages, and the perfect way to kick off summer.

We’re closing out tour in Chicago tonight at GMan Tavern. 8pm doors.

The job is to inspire. Shoutout to my daughter for coming out to the all ages show in Milwaukee last night.

I didn’t calculate the miles. I assume I’ve driven about 8000 or so miles. I didn’t think about the time. Just the mission. I didn’t worry about the money. I left home, or where I thought was home a little over a month ago with about enough cash to make it to the first show. I believed in myself. I didn’t think about shortcomings or pitfalls because seemingly the life that was previously in front of me was filled with shrinking to fit in and riddled with taking shorts and losses. How far can one fall from the zero point? I managed to take my life and chances into my own account and assess the probability of change and leaped. 17 cities across America on a journey of 38 nights in the wilderness in mostly unknown territories. Most would never but I figure why not? One could easily die outside in the wilderness traversing these roads but know that you’ll die anyway and most times in a most mundane and boring way. So you may as well live. If you’ve got a vision follow it. You may lose friends in the process. You may realize some you called friends aren’t much of those at all. You might realize that it best to go at it alone anyhow because at some point after pursuing authenticity for so long you grow distant from those with fake smiles and praise. You may abandon the concept of friendship and adopt the found family model. I’ve definitely found new family. How do you measure success? Monetarily for sure but can one put a price on inspiration? Can one out a price on ex*****on and follow through? What about accomplishing personal challenges and goals void of excuses? Most humans are filled with fear and never accomplish s**t. Like most underground artists no i didn’t go get rich but I did make it all happen and pulled it off without a hitch and my word is bond. If I say it’ll get done it will and just like i said it would. I sold a lot of vinyl this run which enabled an 8000 mile mission during high gas prices, high food prices a few oil changes and hotels. It worked. Even with me getting arrested and detained in Portage, WI last week. Everything still worked out. I’m closing tour tomorrow night in Chicago at . I hope to see you there.
