Movement is for everyone, at every age! ✨ In honor of National Senior Health & Fitness Day, we're celebrating strength, health, wellness, and staying active with these three fitness tips ⚡🏃♀️
Tip #1: Prioritize stretching - Regular stretching enhances your range of motion, balance and flexibility. 🧘♀️
Tip #2: Incorporate strength training into your weekly routine - using hand weights or resistance bands will help improve joint stability, and mobility and reduce the risk of injury. 💥💪
Tip #3: Getting a full night's sleep (7-8 hours) per night will help support your overall well-being.

Fuel your day with a flavorful and nutritious heart-healthy harvest bowl! 🥗 It's the perfect balance of fresh ingredients with leafy greens and sweet potatoes. Try this recipe out and see if you found a new meal to add into your lunch or dinner rotation!
Harvest Bowl Ingredients
1. 3-4 cups of mixed greens
2. 1 cup of roasted sweet potato (season with salt, pepper, rosemary, and a sprinkle of brown sugar)
3. 1 cup of quinoa (wild rice or brown rice works great too!)
4. 1 cup of cooked chicken (bake a chicken breast with your favorite seasonings or buy a rotisserie chicken)
5. 1 apple, chopped (honey crisp is our favorite!)
6. ½ of an avocado cubed or sliced
7. 4 oz of goat cheese
8. ¼ cup of walnuts
Harvest Bowl Dressing Ingredients
1. 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2. 1/4 cup olive oil
3. 1 ½ tbsp mustard
4. ½ tbsp of honey
5. Pinch of salt and pepper
Harvest Bowl Instructions
1. Add all dressing ingredients into a jar with a lid and shake to combine, set aside
2. Prepare the roasted sweet potato, chicken, and quinoa
3. Chop the apple and avocado
4. Place the mixed greens in a large bowl
5. Top the mix greens with the sweet potato, quinoa, chicken, apple, avocado, goat cheese, and walnuts
6. Drizzle prepared dressing onto the harvest bowl and enjoy!
