Studio reset in progress… ya’ll I have too many things. I’m excited to keep chipping away at this and seeing what emerges.

I get distracted when I find certain items but I’m happy to take a break from cleaning and organizing to pivot into a quick project.

This is going to take longer than anticipated, this is normal for me 🤣

‘Rubbish Remade’ Owner combines Art and Environmentalism to upcycle and teach mending Owner Jess Poisl combined her concern for the environment with her artistic abilities to create a business designed to keep rubbish out of landfills.

Whooofta… I’m a lil tired today but I’m hopeful I will get this thing secured and hangable by end of day! Happy Wednesday friends!

Process & Reflection!

Been in the studio a lot the last few weeks, working on things for the Milwaukee Riverkeeper® Boat Parade! Feeling very grateful to be able to bring my doggos to the studio AND get to play around with materials and ideas. It’s been a joy to explore what is possible with waste!

Lots of gratitude to of .studios for partnering on this project, it’s been delightful working with you!

The last 6 months have been personally challenging and filled with a lot of change and large life transitions. It’s been hard, but I’m so grateful for all of it.

This path is not easy, but it is of my choosing and I will stubbornly continue to move forward. When I get discouraged or overwhelmed I try to remind myself this is the place I want to be and that this work is really engaging and fulfilling.

Many many thanks to friends and family who encourage and support me. Thank you for your love and the light you bring to my life. Love and gratitude to you all! 🤗❤️🤗

Did you know that some aluminum cans have plastic wrappers and if you don’t remove the wrapper these cans are not able to be recycled?

found a way to use those wrappers for part of our boat float project for the Milwaukee Riverkeeper® Boat Parade on September 24th…

Trashfetti! 🥳 No worries all trashfetti will be safely contained in vegware clamshells.

Why are we using vegware even tho it’s “compostable”? Unfortunately, for us in Milwaukee there is no large enough scale industrial composting that gets hot enough to break these down. 😭 So trashfetti pods they will become!

We are in need of more plastic can wraps! If your favorite beverages use these please free them from the aluminum and get them to us so we can transform it into elements for our boat float!
