That means Kwanzaa is right around the corner. We’re looking for volunteers that want to help with planning and “day of” activities.

WAAW will be hosting a screening of SHIRLEY, the Netflix documentary directed by the award-winning Milwaukee alum, John Ridley. The movie highlights the groundbreaking achievements of Shirley Chislom, the first Black Woman to seek the presidential nomination from a major political party.
