TRUE Skool | Non-profit | 161 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI, USA TRUE Skool’s as a non-profit mission is to use the urban arts as a tool to engage youth in social justice and humanities education, and leadership and workforce development in Milwaukee.

Imagine a teenager walking into TRUE Skool for the first time. They’re unsure, maybe a little shy, but they’ve always had a love for music, art, or dance. They might not have had access to the tools or support they needed to explore their talent. Maybe a parent brings them in…At Orientation day 1, they find something they’ve maybe never experienced before: a whole family of creative peers that listen, encourage, and believes in each other.

Fast forward a few years. That same young person is no longer just a dreamer—they’re a creator and invested in our Movement. They’ve developed their confidence , worked on crafts and talents, performed at events, and even mentored others. They’ve learned teamwork, project management, new leadership tools, community resources and the power of using their voice.

Even years later, our remember it ALL & because of their experience, they’re committed to making sure other young people have the same opportunities they did. & That’s what we call - all day + everyday - we make a way. ✍🏽
