Hoping to generate interest in my woods working projects. If interested please contact me! Thank you!
Morning you’ll! Was asked to remake 4 corner bench seats for the fitting rooms at work! Turned out well and these aren’t going to fall apart! Each have 12 pocket hole screw (this was new to me) and a support bracket underneath! If you shop at Burghardts in NEw Berlin feel free to take a “load off” and have a seat!
As the weather gets nicer again I plan to get back in the garage to make some stuff!
Started working on these a little too late in the season (do to my real job) but made a few and had positive feedback! Christmas 2023 is over but never too early to start planning for 2024! If interested let me know!
About to hand this board off as it heads to its final destination! First time using wood blocks as feet!
The natural wood grain makes this board one of my all time favorites!
Black Walnut, Cherry, Rose wood and Hard Maple!
If you’re ever interested in purchasing a board contact me and we’ll talk details! Boards range between $50-$100 often depending on wood type, size and thickness.
The wood working gig has been pretty slow for awhile now. I need to get back into it but life is just too busy! My latest project though! This one went to one of Beccas friends expecting a baby at the end of this year!
Months ago I was given a new challenge to make some ocean coasters. I think they turned out decent! Haven’t done much with epoxy since making 227 orange sliced coasters for my brothers wedding but this seemed to go much smoother!
Epoxy can be challenging! It can be fun! Can cause hours of frustration! But when you get it right it’s kinda cool! Gotta try new things to get new outcomes!
Got this picture from my sister in law today! She told me Della finally noticed it on her wall and seemed to enjoy it!
One of my all time favorite pieces I’ve made! I’ll definitely have to make a few more to sell but just not with all the extra love I did for my Della! Full pic of the board in the comments section!
Slowly getting back at the wood working thing! Life is just too busy and this air quality issues have been keeping me from being outside all that much! Never the less these are the last two project I’ve done!
Black walnut side table for my mom (with power 🙂) and a ramp for my sisters dog who likely needs ACL surgery! Poor Frabs!
Slowly getting back into the whole wood thing! Coasters were fun!
After a long break to deal with health concerns (lung/asthma stuff) I’m back at it and hoping to not screw up this side table for my mom! Only time will tell!
1st time making and used pocket hole screws!
Participated in my 1st craft fair today and it went pretty well. It definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone but overall went decent! If you are interested in an of the items in the attached pictures let me know! If it’s been sold I can be recreated! I’ve been told the boards make perfect wedding gifts and the flower blocks/holders are perfect for fresh flowers and mother day gifts!
Special thanks to my friends and family that made the drive to support! I definitely appreciate you! And to Rebecca who put up with my all day!
Thank you for being far more than just a voice on the other end of the phone! In the most stressful moments somehow you guys hold it together! And extra special thank you to my little sister Alex! I KNOW YOUR ONE IF THE BEST! Just remember we got your back! Much love Al! 💛
Tried something new! Epoxy coasters with Black walnut! Epoxy is tricky… these turned out in my favor!
Opinions needed! Which epoxy color would you pick for this piece of wood?!? Blue, orange, lime, pink, black or purple?
Trying to make a variety of wood things for this craft fair on April 15th! Not everyone needs a cutting board/charcuterie board! But maybe they like plants! Flower planters!
Biggest project to date! Also really my 1st “3D” type project. Everything else has pretty much been flat boards.
Flower/herb ladder. 38” by 60” tall. Each box is 8” tall.
Definitely a learning curve but I’m glad I changed my No to a Yes when I was asked if I could make this!
What’s next?!?! Good question! I got a few things in the works.
Had a lot of interest in my previous post so figured I’d show those people and or anyone else interested a few other looks I’ve had in the works for this upcoming craft fair! Let me know if your interested!
Wood used in these 4 pics is African Mahogany which is even more beautiful in Person!
Quick project I made as part of my gift for my niece 6th birthday yesterday! I’m doing a craft fair in April and thinking of selling the wood/glass part of the project. Thoughts?
