Taking cookie, tres leche cake and bundt cake orders!

Time to step out of that box again. I’ve never made anything with wild game before. I’ll also be pulling out the tart pan for dessert. Stay tuned for the menu.

Happy 12th birthday to Cooking Hijinx. Of course, I'm making lobster rolls because it's the first thing I made that I had never done before. Who would have thought that seeing an ad from Sendik's for live lobsters would start this? I sure didn't. I've taught myself to make so many things over the last twelve years and stepped outside the box of cooking and baking. I now look at food and my first thoughts are how I can make that and what I need to know to make it. Here's to another twelve years of Cooking Hijinx.
