The day was both impactful and educational, with a captivating audience of over 400 attendees treated to engaging presentations and live demos. This weekend we helped change a life-right on the track. Through the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides program and with GEICO, our team donated a fully restored vehicle to someone in need.
Odessa Rodriguez, who is building a stable life for herself and her school-age daughter, has worked with Family Promise of Chicago North Shore to set and meet goals, to adopt life skills and to advocate for her daughter and herself.
This vehicle will relieve the constant pressure around getting her child to school and extracurriculars and getting herself to work. It will also facilitate Rodriguez's search for an improved work opportunity.
