Looks like I will be discharged tomorrow from Emcompass Rehabilitation Hospital. I'm back walking with a Walker. I still have a long ways to go with my recovery and getting over this crud I've caught. I was diagnosed with Viral Pnemonia and Pancreitis, I'm taking antibiotics so on my way to recovery there also. Prayers requested. Thank you.

I have 3 tickets for the FSU, MIAMI Game for Nov 13 2021 in Tallahassee for sale for $300 they cost me $413 we can't make it. Should be a good game. My loss your gain.

Funeral Information for Founding Father Ed Gallant. Service and viewing for Ed is Tuesday, July 7th at the National Cremation and Burial Society, 5641 Highway 90 West Milton, Florida 32583.

Viewing will be from 12 pm to 2 pm with services to follow at the funeral home.

I grew up in Pensacola, Fl. Eating at a restaurant or fast food was a huge deal that never happened. Ice cream was usually homemade, and us kids would help by turning the handle on the churn bucket. Chips and soda were for special occasions. A good lunch was a sandwich to take outside in the yard. Eating cold watermelon was a treat on a hot day. You took your school clothes off as soon as you got home and put on your play clothes. We had to do our homework before being allowed outside to play. We ate dinner at the table. We went to school everyday and rode a bus with 3 to a seat. There was no taking you or picking you up from school.
Our phone was attached to the wall in the kitchen and had a cord, if you were blessed enough to have one. There was no private conversation or cell phones! TVs didn’t have a remote. To change the channel we had to get up and change to one of just a few stations and it was in black and white.
We played Mother may I, Red Light Green Light, Hide & Seek, Truth or Dare, Tag, Softball, Kick Ball, Dodge Ball, Kick the Can, made mud pies, rode bikes, fished, played jump rope, played tic-tac-toe, played jacks and hop scotch..Staying in the house was a punishment.
We ate what mom made for dinner or we ate nothing at all.
There was no bottled water; we drank water from the tap, water hose (warm) or from the well. We watched family shows like The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, Dukes of Hazzard, HEE-HAW, The Brady Bunch, I Love Lucy, Gilligans Island, Andy Griffith, Gunsmoke, The Lone Ranger, and watched Cartoons on Saturday mornings, while cleaning the house from top to bottom. We rode our bikes for hours. We weren't AFRAID OF ANYTHING. If someone had a fight, that's what it was and we were friends again a week later, if not SOONER. We played til dark, sunset was our curfew, or when you heard “the whistle” and when the porch light came on.
School was mandatory and teachers were people who you could TRUST and respect.
We watched our MOUTHS around our elders because ALL of our Aunts, Uncles, Grandpas and Grandmas, AND our Parents best friends were also our PARENTS (they COULD & WOULD WHOOP Y'ALL!,) and you didn't want them telling your PARENTS if you misbehaved.
These were the good ole days. Kids today will never know how it feels to be a real kid. I loved my childhood...!!!

I will have the Surgery on my Ankle tomorrow around 12:30 p.m. at Gulf Breeze Out Patient Surgery Center. If all goes as planned all will be discharged from hospital to home. Please keep Carole and me in your prayers that this takes one Surgery. Thank you all to the well wishers and prayers.

Just a update on my health I'm in Gulf Breeze Hospital for reduced Kidney Functions, Weakness and Fatigue. Doctors have started giving me I V Fluids which has already started to improve my Kidney Function Numbers. It's not looking like I will be out of Hospital in time to Host Chapter Meeting tomorrow night so will reschedule meeting for another week and night this month. Prayers Appreciated Thank you.

My Ankle Surgery that was scheduled this past Friday was canceled due to some abnormal Blood Work. The Blood Work showed that I was in Acute Kidney Failure. On Thanksgiving Day when they drew my Blood the Doctor told me then my Kidney Enzyme was elevated a little due to me being Dehydrated from recent Vomiting Issues.. I'm trying to drink and build up my Fluid intake but still dealing with stomach issues. I'm hoping to get issues straighten out. Prayers appreciated.

I have lived through several United States Presidents prior to our current President Trump. In my lifetime, I have never seen nor heard of a President scrutinized over every word he speaks, humiliated by the public to the point of disgrace, slandered, ridiculed, insulted, lied to/about, threatened with death, had his wife and our First Lady disrespected, & his minor child insulted, threatened & harassed.
I am ashamed and saddened by the ruthless, meanspirited, hateful, cruel, biased people who display themselves as having no civic pride, morals, ethics, decency or respect for our country's traditions and values. My elders and teachers taught me many yrs ago to respect our President, whether I voted for them or not. All the news stations & reporters who feel they have the right to perpetuate blatent lies and fabricate "facts" for a "good story" are dividing our country beyond belief. Many only report the negative "news" and never the accomplishments of our President. If people do not research everything put out by the MSM, they are left to believe all the hate mongering news. This is leading to so much intolerance that I feel we are nearing the brink of a civil war! No other President that took the oath of office, has been on the news 24/7, scrutinized for their every word, facial expression, decision, handshake, what he eats... NO, he is not perfect, far from it! No President or person is, including you and I!!!!! Yes, he makes stupid comments and doesn't use the flowery language of a "professional politician". However, I believe he truly loves the United States of America and works tirelessly to make things better for us all. He is very different than what we've become accustomed to, thank goodness. The people who would rather see our country fail than help him do his job need to stop. I was always taught "If you can't be part of the solution then at least don't be part of the problem". I personally want our President Donald Trump, as I did his predecessors, to succeed. To hope for failure is INSANE. United we stand; divided we fall.

All my Blue Knights Brother and Sisters who know my wife Carole please keep her in your Prayers. She was admitted to Baptist Hospital, Pensacola Florida yesterday due to a fall last Thursday night. This fall caused a Fracture at L1 Vertebrae and a condition called Rhabdomyolysis. This is where Wasting Muscle Tissue a Enzyme into the Bloodstream that can destroy the Kidneys and cause the other muscles to have severe pain and not work. Carole is where I was this past year with Kidney issues. She is producing Urine but unable to void on her own and has to be Cathterized. This also causing violent vomiting and she is unable to walk, stand or raise her arms. I could use your prayers as I am dealing with Stomach issues causing vomiting and not aiding in my recovery. I'm still in a Boot on right leg / foot and on limited walking with a Walker. We are a real pair the two of us. Thank You

I wish more people understood. What I have is not a cold or the flu. Doctors say I will never get better. A nap won't help. I am not lazy. I am on meds that cause weight gain & other nasty side effects. I struggle with pain & fatigue every day. I have an autoimmune disease and overactive nerve disease. I'm watching the ones who will take the time to read this post until the end. My door is always open. My house is usually messy. (It's lived in, not filthy.) Coffee could be on in minutes, and my sofa is a comfy place of peace and non-judgment. I have food in the fridge or if you have time I can cook something for your palate, a listening ear or shoulder to cry on, and a circus for a family to make you laugh.
