Instead of my personal Facebook account, I should have posted these here - the first set of my Favorite Photos of 2025.

2025 has been a busy year!. Michigan Upper Peninsula in Winter and Spring (with Neil Weaver Photography and Aubrieta Hope and Grace Croonenberghs and Terrie Smith and Lori Haukkala Boes and Lisa Spadafore and others..). Washington, D.C. most months for a few days for work. Northern Arizona in Winter and late Summer. Lake Michigan in Winter (St. Joseph, South Haven, Holland, Grand Haven). Detroit with Midwest Photography Workshops. Switzerland / Germany / France in Fall (Autumn). Tulip farm in Spring. Sunflower and Lavender farms in Summer. New York City in Summer. and .. wonderful flower gardens in my neighborhood!

Winter is coming. Lake Michigan often has big storms before and during winter. They are great opportunities for fascinating photos…combined with opportunities to get sand in your camera, lenses, tripod, and everything else. Harsh winds whip across the beach and any part of you that is unprotected..
