VOLUME WARNING. Got a vintage Herbrand HT-660 Coil tester a few weeks ago. It needed a few tweaks to get going, but now it’s running strong. This allows you to test the coil under load, and not just ohm’s. You can also vary the spark gap to test the coils strength.

Finished up a restoration on a REALLY crusty 010 for my friend Emmanuel. Check out the before and after! Surprisingly, everything cleaned up nicely, and tested perfect.

Had a great time at XRP last night for the TVWDRA second round. Two cars that I tuned wound up in the finals against eachother. Congrats Clint Cox for the win, and Eric Ellis for second.

Finished up a set of 48 IDA’s last night for my good friend Eric. These got the full treatment: v***r blasted bodies, electroplated hardware, Gary Berg shaft seal kits, sealed bearings, modified fuel inlets, flow tested, Gene Berg short velocity stacks and grooved vents, etc.

Finished up another 009 with Pertronix. Couple tweaks, and it’s right where it needs to be!

Finished up a set of Italian 48 IDA’s that came in for a basic rebuild, but had a ton of issues. They wound up getting some welding to fix a boss that has cracked, 3rd prog ports, aux vent hold downs, enlarged float bowls, modified fuel inlets, new throttle shafts, Gary Berg shaft seal kits, sealed bearings, surfaced mating areas, sonic cleaning, v***r blasted, flow testing, wet testing, etc.
