Hey

We are hosting our annual Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE) on July 8th from 9am-12pm at

COPE is an immersive simulation that lets people walk in the shoes of individuals experiencing crisis and poverty.

WE UPDATED OUR REGISTRATION LINK to include tickets for participants or volunteers. It is still FREE, but now you have the option to choose between simulating the life of a person in crisis as a “participant” or simulate the role of a resource provider as a “volunteer” (*Volunteers need to arrive by 8am for a one hour training before participants arrive)

Here is the new link to register: https://www.uniteellis.org/event-details/cope-elliscounty

We hope to fill up the church and make this the best COPE yet!

We’re so grateful for hosting her first annual resource fair.

We were happy to bring our network to the table to serve the 150+ people who walked through the doors of the Waxahachie Civic Center. Looking forward to next year!

To all the ones who gave their lives for this country and to the ones who they left behind, we say thank you.

If you are a Service Member, Veteran, or part of a Military Family, we see you. Listen to this special message from our very own Rep. Jake Ellzey and see how you can access resources available to you a little easier.

Contact us or his office today for assistance.

Thanks, everyone! God got this need fulfilled through your obedient hearts. Keep up the great work 😁

A local mom and her 5 daughters are at risk of losing their home, and we have a chance to help.

A hardworking single mom recently relocated to Midlothian from Houston to rebuild stability for her family. She has started a new job, is growing her own small business income, and expects to be able to cover rent moving forward. However, during this transition, they are facing eviction and need $2,200 to stay housed.

She is also open to financial guidance and would love to get connected to a local church community for support.

Would you, your church, or business consider helping? Any amount makes a difference. Please see the need at the link below. Thank you for your donations, support, and prayers!
