There’s something truly special about making someone’s birthday cake. Whether it’s a giant cookie cake (the superior choice) or a box of cupcakes, it’s a reminder that someone is here, loved and surrounded by people who want to celebrate them.

As I was packaging up this sweet birthday order, I remembered that June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month - As the eldest sister to brothers, a wife, a best friend, an aunt, and a mum to the sweetest little boy, this month sticks close to my soul.

Mental health matters, and conversations about it matter too - So check in on your people, send the text, make the call, ask the question, and stay for the answer.

And if you’re struggling yourself, know that you have a place here. The Midnight Mixer will always be a safe space - Whether you need a moment to breathe, a reason to smile, or simply a cookie after a long day, you’re welcome here.
