Let me take a min to brag on this crew!

After our final test pass this am we found a hurt valve. (11:20am) We immediately started tearing down the engine. While looking at data we realized there was something going on in the transmission also. So they pulled it as well. After dressing a head, swapping trans and rebuilding our torque converter we made the call for E1 at 1:37pm.

Fuel left in the cylinder left the burnout a little janky. Got on the tree and with our fresh converter our pressure was back down where we needed and the truck wouldn’t bump in. This would normally be fixed on a spool test after a fresh trans but with us barely getting the hood on to make it to the lanes in time we just didn’t have enough time.

Would have been a stretch having anything for Maximus but Frosty went a mid teen on 5 cylinders letting off early the pass before. And we actually turned it up a descent amount for this run for the first time this weekend.

Valve troubles are still an issue atm for us but we will continue to work on our program and get this thing figured out! A couple personal best early in the week show were headed in the right direction.
