My brother in law “Big Mike” looked forward to this event every year! He worked at the Giant Center & had made many friends over the years working with the Giant Center & the fire department & charities he served. Sadly he was taken from us in June 2020 from a massive heart attack.

The hole that has been left in the heart of family in friends from his untimely death has been huge. BUT we are going to keep this tradition alive! Will you help by sharing this post to spread the word and participating too?

I’m asking if you would help by donating a bear or gently used plush & non perishable food. Instead of tossing on the ice, this year they are doing a drive by. Mike would have been there in the front lines for sure!

Mike was passionate about keeping Hershey as the highest number of bears collected to serve local charities.
•
This is the fire dog my family is tossing for the drive by event Saturday January 23rd from 10-2 PM at the Giant Center. On it is a favorite Dale Earnhardt quote he recited often as a D.E. Fan & the fire dept # he served printed by yours truly.

This year the Bears hockey team is partnering with the Giant Food Stores to collect non-perishable food items too. Food collected will be donated to the Central PA Food Bank during a time when food insecurities are increasingly on the rise.

I am ever grateful to everyone who has helped me grow my small biz to what it is today to go out and be more confident doing more stuff like this. What a joy it has been to team up with (Scented Soaps by Karen) to provide her new designs with custom packaging for her product line. Karen truly incorporates her customers needs into everything she does from product design to end production. By listening & pulling in her customers wants & having them be directly part of the design process itself is truly unique & amazing! We have not been disappointed and are really looking forward to working with Karen on a long term level.

What a joy to help this non-profit get some exposure and financial need. Thank you to for the opportunity to be a part of your 2018 plans for success!

Picture from the Remembrance Ceremony for the PA DUI Association last evening. We printed the garland & each name of victims from 2014. The garland had 1900+ names of every victim who has been tragically taken too soon from our lives. Friends...please enjoy the holiday but be safe. Also, never take your love for granted...tell someone how important they are to you! I never want to print your name, family on a remembrance ribbon and/or on this garland! Here's my latest...This wreath will have it's final resting place on display in the Victims Memorial Garden at the PA DUI Association in Harrisburg, PA. The garden is a place to remember those who have lost their lives to senseless and avoidable deaths as a result of those who made poor choices. I pre-made the wreath for them and then was on site Saturday to print the ribbon for each victim's name in support of the families & friends who were walking or running in their annual PA DUI Victims Memorial Run/Walk. How WONDERFUL it was to be a part of this event. I sure did shed a few tears as I printed each name & as I listened to families & friends sharing stories of their loved one as they came up and looked at the wreath with their loved one's name. There are NO words...but I'm so glad that I could offer my talents to give this to the families & friends of those who are lost...but NEVER forgotten. How hard it must be for them to live without them each and every day knowing that their death was preventable. No one truly can understand their pain. My prayers are lifted to them as they grieve daily for their loved ones until they are reunited. Thank you Wendy Whitehaus-Cole & the PA DUI Association for this GREAT opportunity!!!!

I am proud to be able to help & support Linda Beck, just one of the 15 runners who are running in the April 21, 2014 Boston Marathon for Dougie's Team with the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism (flutiefoundation.org). Many of you know that Autism awareness is very near & dear to my heart. Linda had asked me to help her as part of the team and I have designed a support ribbon to help the team for this special day. Since I won't be there, I'm proud to display a ribbon in their support.

Linda Beck is from Harrisburg, PA & I am excited to share what I can do to print support ribbons to help the team raise money for individuals & families who live with Autism day to day. There is a scheduled airing of an interview with Linda Beck with Sherry Christian, CBS 21 Harrisburg on Thursday, March 20th.I hope you can schedule some time to watch it.

I have personally set a goal to help Linda & Dougie's Team whom I feel are real hometown heroes running for a great cause for the many individuals who struggle with Autism daily. The team members are from all over the USA & were selected after a long process by the Foundation to run on behalf of Dougie's Team. They are bringing their hearts & souls to Boston this year to represent the many individuals & families who live day to day with Autism. In the wake of the terrible tragedy that affected so many individuals last April, to me they are true hometown heroes & bring more meaning to what it is to be BOSTON STRONG. I personally wanted to be a part of their efforts as well.

By doing this, you too will help raise awareness on Autism & how it affects so many. I have also created a page on my website to learn more if you'd like to help support the team.
