This semester, North Studio is working with Wesleyan's own Long Lane Farm to design and build a chicken coop. The goal is twofold: to create a sustainable environment for the animals and to facilitate simple interactions between students and chickens. We'll be posting again soon with more updates as we close in on a final design.

This semester, North Studio is working on "Blue Blaze," a site-specific project for the Connecticut Forest and Park Association, headquartered in Rockfall, CT. The studio aims to transform the building's existing paved courtyard through creating a canopy structure that will help solidify the visual identity of the CFPA as well as enrich the experience of interacting with the site and the building.
