I’ve had the busiest patriotic wreath season I’ve ever had. 🇺🇸
Christmas is usually this busy, but never the Fourth of July! I think the upcoming 250th celebration has a lot to do with it.
I still have a few patriotic designs available, along with some summer and year-round wreaths, so come take a little walk around my “studio”…
Okay, it’s really my kitchen. 😂
Which one is your favorite?

For years I’ve created custom coastal wreaths using driftwood, shells, starfish, and personalized signs.
This driftwood and shell base is the very last one I have.
I honestly haven’t been able to find another one like it, which is probably why I’ve been hanging onto it for so long. I’ve been hoarding this one because I love it so much!
But I think it’s finally time for it to find the right home.
The center sign can be personalized with a family name, beach house name, cottage name, lake house name, welcome message, or something meaningful to you. Colors can be customized as well.
I’ve included photos of some similar coastal wreaths I’ve created over the years to show the possibilities.
Many people hang them on their front door, but I’ve also seen them used as beautiful year-round coastal décor inside the home.
Once this one is personalized and gone, that’s it. There won’t be another.

Custom coastal welcome wreaths are back! ⚓️
It’s been awhile since I’ve made one but was asked recently to create one of my best sellers from years ago as a housewarming gift for a new Cape home. The anchor can be painted in any color to match any decor, personalized with family names, house names, lake house names, beach cottage names, or even a boat name. Ribbon colors are customized to coordinate with your decor.
Perfect for a front door, but many customers also use them as year-round wall décor inside their homes.

Today marks 50 years since our first date. (Yes, I was a baby. 😉😂)
Like any couple that’s been together this long, we’ve had our share of ups and downs. It hasn’t always been sunshine and roses, but somehow we’re still here.
One thing I’m especially grateful for is how supportive he’s been of my wreath business. While he may not love that our kitchen table often doubles as my design studio, he’s helped with deliveries, proudly tells his friends about my wreath business, and celebrates my successes.
He’s patiently made room for wreaths, ribbon, and creative clutter throughout our home. In return, I’ve done my best to make room for the sneakers, clothes, and accessories he needs to maintain his reputation as a fashionista who can definitely rock the pinks. 😄
Building a small business isn’t a solo journey, and today seemed like a good day to thank the person who’s been along for the ride for the last 50 years.
Not perfect … still here. ❤️

Realized when someone asked me about nautical wreaths, I hadn’t updated this album of completed Custom Orders so adding now ☺️⚓️🐟🚤⛵️🐡
A little behind-the-scenes look at one of my patriotic wreaths… 🇺🇸
Before I use a flag in this design, I iron every wrinkle out first.
Now here’s the funny part…
Does anyone know whether I ironed it first once it’s all gathered onto the wreath? Probably not! 😂
But I know.
And once the wreath is finished, I usually go back and steam it again if needed because apparently I can’t help myself. 🤦♀️
It’s one of those little details that probably doesn’t matter to anyone else, but it matters to me.
Sometimes the little things are what make handmade special. ❤️🤍💙

One of my favorite things is seeing my wreaths in their new homes ❤️🤍💙
A customer recently sent me this photo, and it absolutely made my day!
Seeing how customers style their wreaths is always such a treat, and this beautiful double-door display was too good not to share.
A matching pair creates such a welcoming patriotic statement and really showcases the impact wreaths can have on a double-door entryway. 🇺🇸
If you’ve been thinking about decorating for America’s 250th celebration or the Fourth of July, now is the perfect time to order. Patriotic ribbon wreath supplies are becoming limited as we get closer to the big day.
And if you’ve purchased a wreath from me, I’d love to see it hanging at your home too! Feel free to share a photo in the comments or send me a message. ❤️

Yesterday I shared a photo of deep purple roses (that were calling my name!), velvet ribbon, pearl heart, and greenery spread across my kitchen table.
Twenty-four hours later, this is what those supplies became. 💜
As I was putting the finishing touches on it, I realized the velvet ribbon is almost the exact color of my front door paint, a shade called “Passionate Purple.”
A pretty fitting name for a wreath that came from nothing more than inspiration and the desire to create something beautiful.
Available for purchase.

Weekend days I should probably be doing laundry, cleaning the basement, and getting ready for pool season …
But today these deep purple roses kept calling my name.
This isn’t a custom order. No one requested it. I simply had a picture in my mind of rich purple roses paired with velvet ribbon, and I wanted to see if I could bring it to life.
Truthfully, that’s how this whole wreath journey started years ago. I wasn’t trying to build a business. I just loved creating beautiful things and seeing an idea become something real.
So today’s project is simply for the joy of designing.
Here’s what’s on my work table (aka kitchen table 😉) this afternoon. Now let’s see if the finished wreath turns out the way I’m imagining it. 💜
Wish me luck!

🌼 A Custom Wedding Gift Wreath with a Personal Touch 🌼
One of my favorite design challenges is creating something deeply personal for someone I’ve never met.
For this custom wreath, the customer asked if I could incorporate the couple’s wedding invitation directly into the design. The invitation became more than just a keepsake, it became my inspiration.
When you’re designing a gift, you can’t ask the recipient what they like. Instead, you become a bit of a detective. I studied the invitation they had carefully chosen and looked for clues about their style and taste. The soft florals, natural elements, and light, airy feel all suggested a love of wildflowers and understated elegance.
I took those clues and created a wreath that reflected what I imagined they loved and echoed the feeling of their invitation.
💛 If you zoom in, you’ll notice the invitation in the center. I’ve removed the names and wedding details for privacy, but the original invitation was incorporated into the design.
